Anyone who is interested is warmly invited to attend the two public keynote speeches on Wednesday, June 14. At 2:30 pm, Sarah Davies from the University of Vienna will be speaking about “Science Communication as World-Making.” Later on, from 6 pm, Martin Bauer from the London School of Economics and Political Science will be giving his talk entitled “The Language Games of Science Communication.” The event will be held in the Universitätsforum in Bonn at Heussallee 18–24. The conference is being organized by the Rhine Ruhr Center for Science Communication Research (RRC), a joint project involving the University of Bonn, Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, TU Dortmund University, the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities (KWI) Essen and the Kaete Hamburger Center for Advanced Study in the Humanities “Cultures of Research” in Aachen. It is being supported financially by the Volkswagen Foundation.
