Valuable experiences for the participants
Patricia adds: “The atmosphere with the rest of the girls is amazing and the exchange of perspectives is the most valuable learning I am taking with me.” She has already completed two one-week schools and several company visits and is on the home stretch of the programme. The globally operating industrial partners she has met include Fraunhofer, Procter & Gamble, E.on, Evonik, Deutsche Telekom, ABB and Porsche.
Her FEMTEC classmate Judith (MSc Plant Sciences student) is also enthusiastic: “The Femtec career-building programme creates the perfect environment to grow personally while being surrounded by a community of supportive and truly inspiring female students.” Experienced coaches are on hand for all questions relating to individual career planning – Where do I want to go? What suits me? What are my talents? How do I present myself confidently? – to support the scholarship holders and deepen the aspects in interactive workshops.
New call open until November 3
Female students from STEM master's programs at the University of Bonn can now apply for the new round. They should be in the first half of their studies (1st or 2nd semester) and have a good knowledge of English and basic knowledge of German. FEMTEC's English-language programme, which runs alongside their studies, prepares female STEM students for their career entry and offers them a strong network in the corporate world. The application deadline is November 3, 2024. For the selected scholarship holders, the programme will begin in March 2025.
