Berufs- und Praktikumsbörse Geographie

Established in 2008, the annual Careers and Internship Exchange of the Department of Geography usually takes place at the start of May. The aim of the event is to present a range of companies to students to which they can apply for an internship or a job.

The Careers and Internship Exchange consists of two areas: 

• Firstly, a panel organized in cooperation with the Alumni Network, at which experts and alumni speak about their professional field, their employment history and their experience of choosing a career and the application process (Forum Beruf Geographie)
• The second area consists of a careers fair; this provides companies with the opportunity to introduce themselves to students.

The event is open to students from all degree programs. Participants are not required to register; admission is free-of-charge.

The next Career and Internship Exchange is expected to take place in May / June 2025. You will find more information about the event here from spring 2025.
