Network meeting NGH & AGH in Bonn
In November 2023, two network meetings of health-promoting universities will take place at the Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms Universität Bonn. On November 9 & 10, Healthy Campus Bonn will host the Healthy Universities Network NRW (NGH-NRW) and the German Network of Health Promoting Universities (AGH).

About the Healthy Universities Network NRW
North Rhine-Westphalia is the federal state with the highest density of universities and in direct comparison it becomes clear that the design of university health management is very diverse. Against this background, the Network Healthy Universities NRW (German web page) was founded in April 2019.
True to the motto "Thinking health further together", the health managers of the universities in North Rhine-Westphalia have joined forces to intensify networking processes and the possibilities for exchanging experiences in order to further establish and promote high-quality health management and adequate health promotion at universities. Common standards for health-promoting universities are defined, needs-based qualification measures are offered, and the topic is promoted at the state political level in order to obtain adequate, long-term funding for university health management.

The network meeting:
The next network meeting will take place at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. The program offers plenty of room for exchange, with insights into the university health management Healthy Campus Bonn and other practical examples from other member universities.

About the German Network of Health Promoting Universities
The German Network of Health Promoting Universities (AGH) is a nationwide association of representatives from universities and university-related organizations that advocates the establishment of comprehensive health management and health promotion according to the setting approach at universities.
The aim of the working group is to initiate health promoting living, learning and working conditions for all status groups at universities and to support universities in establishing health promoting structures. The working group is guided by the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion of the World Health Organization (1986) and the concept of the setting approach.

The working group meeting
The AGH meeting will take place at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. A colorful program awaits you, including the topics of a whole-university approach to promoting physical activity, stress prevention for doctoral students, or communication in university health management.
On the day before the network meeting AGH, the meeting of the NGW-NRW will take place. Participants in the AGH are cordially invited to the evening program the day before.
