My research centers around the design and analysis of numerical methods for partial differential equations. A particular focus lies on computational multiscale methods, which aim at the efficient approximation of the macroscopic behavior of solutions to problems with multiple (mainly spatial) scales. Applications include wave propagation and nonlinear problems.
