We are looking for a recognized person in the field of clinical and scientific electrophysiology. Expertise both in fundamental scientific and in clinical electrophysiological research and comprehensive experience in the interventional ablative and device-based treatment of cardiac arrhythmia are required. The position is based at the Cardiac Center of University Hospital Bonn in Medical Clinic and Polyclinic II – Cardiology, Pulmonology, Angiology, Internal Intensive Care Medicine and is linked to a senior physician (“Oberarzt”) position.
He/she is to strengthen and further develop existing profile areas, areas of focus, and research networks, particularly within the cardiovascular specialization of the Faculty of Medicine. Excellent scientific performance is expected.
The successful candidate must have completed a university degree in medicine and specialist medical training in internal medicine and cardiology, and have a habilitation or evidence of equivalent academic achievements, and experience of teaching in accordance with section 36 of the Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia (Hochschulgesetz NRW).
