I am a group leader in the laboratory of Prof. Mihai Netea at the LIMES Institute. My research focuses on understanding epigenetic mechanisms and metabolic pathways governing immune responses with an ultimate goal to target them for therapeutic interventions.  In particular, together with my team we are investigating molecular mechanisms important for unconventional gammadelta (gd) T cell function in health and disease and developing expansion protocols allowing to use these cells in cancer immunotherapy.
