I am interested in all innovative ideas to probe our current understanding of the fundamental interactions of our universe. To do this, my group is targeting precision measurements at the LHC, in particular the W boson mass and the strong coupling constants, but also look for unknown effects in Quantum Chromodynamics. In addition, we are looking for the new particles, known as axions, which could explain dark matter but also some theoretical shortcomings of the Standard Model in Particle Physics. Last but not least, we develop detectors for collider neutrino physics and the search for high frequency gravitational waves.
