As an early career scientist, I am engaged in gaseous detectors and data acquisition systems for nuclear and particle physics. Within the international RD51 Collaboration, I further developed the general Scalable Readout System (SRS). Within the group of Prof. Desch, I am co-leading a project to develop novel neutron detectors read out with the SRS. In the group of Prof. Ketzer, I am involved in the COMPASS and AMBER experiments, the required gaseous detectors and their electronics. Furthermore, I am assisting the application of SRS in other future experiments, such as the European Spallation Source in Lund or the MAGIX Experiment in Mainz. My research deals with general questions on who data acquisition system for highest performance can be realised. This includes topics as Machine Learning on embedded processors.
