Bernd Weber studied medicine at the University of Bonn and graduated in 2003. Prof. Weber was Co-Founder of the Center for Economics and Neuroscience. He was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal for Neuroscience, Psychology and Economics, president of the Association of Neuropsychoeconomics and board member of the Society for Neuroeconomics. His main research focus is the biological basis of human value-based decision making.
