Description
Considering ethics when planning a research project is part of being a responsible researcher. This workshop will point out what research ethics mean for your research, where to get relevant information and what you have to consider, as well as how to address ethical issues in your own research.
The workshop will be split into two parts:
- First, an introduction to the topic will be provided, followed by a discussion on case studies in small groups.
- To make the second part of the workshop even more interactive, please think up a research project to discuss as a case study. This can be a completely hypothetical project or you could use your own research project if you are comfortable with discussing this in the workshop. If you choose to talk about your own project, you might get some helpful input out of it.
