Podcasts have become extremely popular in recent years and nowadays they are an important tool for political, social and scientific discourse. The advantages of science podcasts compared to other media are obvious: You do not have to read or watch anything. Therefore, there is hardly any place you cannot listen to your favorite hosts and inform yourself about your favorite topics.

Description

In this workshop you will learn how to plan, produce and publish your own podcast in science communication. We will look at different recording methods and how to make your podcast stand out. And of course, you will produce your own pilot episode. So if you ever wanted to start a scientific podcast on your own, why not start now? The only thing you need to bring is an idea – e.g. a topic from your doctoral research!
