Networking isn't about knowing as many people as possible and adding them on LinkedIn (if you already have an account). It's about developing insight into your own goals and motivations, and about the ability to find supporters to achieve them. And, of course, your willingness to share the knowledge and contacts you already have with others.

Description
This workshop will help you to analyze your own goals and your network. It will provide techniques for strategically expanding and maintaining your network, including a look at social media, networks and the opportunities they offer. We will also take a closer look at communication, especially at small talk: What is small talk? How do you do it? And what might be the obstacles on the way to becoming a "good" small talker? Additionally we will discuss how to use LinkedIn, including posting (with AI).
The workshop combines theoretical input with practical exercises. You will have space to interact with other participants, share your own experiences and apply the different techniques in numerous exercises.

- Analyze your existing network and define your aims
- Develop strategies for enlarging and maintaining your network according to your aims
- Improve strategies and communication skills to get and stay in touch with people you meet
