Dr. Sophia Baumert will provide insights into her work as an advisor on agriculture and climate change at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). She studied agricultural sciences at the University of Bonn and earned her doctorate at the Center for Development Research (ZEF). After research stays in Mozambique and Scotland, she worked for four years as a senior consultant at AFC (Agriculture and Finance Consultants). In October 2021, she started her current position at GIZ.
