Basics of the Law on Fixed-term Contracts ('WissZeitVG')
A workshop offered by the Human Resources Development
The online workshop provides an initial overview of the law on fixed-term contracts, in particular the "Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz". The following questions will be answered during the workshop: How to calculate the 12-year maximum term? In which constellations is a contract extension possible? How does the time limit work in the case of third-party funding? Is it possible to have a fixed-term contract at the university according to regulations other than the "Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz"? How many contracts are possible at all? With whom does the scientific staff conclude the employment contract?
