Summer School: Trust me! Neural Networks, Manipulation and Ethics
The program will explore the ethical, neuroscientific, and philosophical aspects of AI's impact on human autonomy, decision-making, and manipulation.
Key Topics:
- The distinction between manipulation, persuasion, and coercion
- Neural mechanisms of manipulation in both humans and AI
- Ethical implications of AI-human interaction
- Regulation and ethical AI implementation in various sectors
Participants will engage in keynote lectures, workshops, and an ideathon in collaboration with leading German companies in AI and neuroscience. Additionally, cultural events will offer insights into Bonn’s rich history.
This school is open to Masters and PhD students of the NeurotechEU alliance. Each university can send up to four participants.
NeurotechEU is an alliance of 8 leading European universities and over 250 partners with a focus on brain research and technologies.
