Prevention of sexualized discrimination and violence in the university context
An offer from the Human Resources Development in cooperation with the Equal Opportunities Office and the Vice-Rectorate for Equal Opportunities & Diversity
The session provides basic knowledge about the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) and the various behaviours that fall under sexualized discrimination and violence. It also addresses the various options for action for those affected, witnesses, supporters and contact persons (such as teaching staff or leaders) and refers specifically to the university context with its specific risks and options for action. In addition, the University of Bonn's guidelines for protection against sexualized discrimination and violence as well as contact points will be presented.
Following the presentation, there will be time for questions and discussion.

You will usually be given a certificate at all our events that confirms your attendance at the event and its content.
We are also currently developing a range of certificates for three “career tracks”: “Research,” “Research Management,” and “Business and Organizations.” More information will shortly be provided on the web page for “Postdoc plus,” which is the name of the certification program.
If the event currently being displayed counts as credit toward one of the three “tracks,” this will be indicated accordingly.
