Support for Science in Times of War
“Cologne/Bonn Academy in Exile” founded
The Universities of Cologne and Bonn have joined forces to support researchers from Ukraine affected by the war. The newly founded academy also welcomes researchers from Russia and Belarus who are being persecuted for standing up against the military action. The academy’s work mainly focuses on European integration and promoting knowledge about the affected region.
Libraries, Children and Literature in Ukraine—in Times of War and Peace
Two librarians and a publisher from Ukraine have been reporting on their experiences in a discussion held at the University of Bonn, organized by the Bonn University and State Library (USL) together with RWTH Aachen University.
