On May 8, 2023, 1:00-6:00 PM, numerous industry companies, ministries and associations will provide information about career entry opportunities. Among them such worldwide operating companies as Bayer, Claas and KWS SAAT, as well as startups such as Pheno-Inspect GmbH and Nature Robots GmbH. Visitors will have the opportunity to gain insight into the participating organizations, expand their own professional network, and establish contacts to stakeholders outside of academia.
"The aim of the event is, on the one hand, to give the prospective graduates an insight into the situation on the labor market and, on the other hand, to give employers the opportunity to establish contacts for their own talent pool," says Dr. Nora Berning, Chief Administrative Officer of the Cluster of Excellence PhenoRob – Robotics and Phenotyping for Sustainable Crop Production at the University of Bonn.
The fair is also the starting point for the so-called PhenoRob Business and Stakeholder Network, a network launched under the auspices of the Cluster and in cooperation with the Theodor Brinkmann Foundation and the Faculty of Agriculture, which promotes exchange on topics related to the only Cluster in the field of agriculture in Germany. In the network the Cluster concentrates its links to relevant industrial partners, policy makers, associations and other multiplicators along the entire innovation chain of sustainable crop production.
