The addresses of female and male graduates were collected in accordance with § 10 of the Enrollment Ordinance of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn and stored in a student database. 

Addresses may be transmitted and used within the University of Bonn if it serves the fulfillment of scientific tasks and/or the fulfillment of the tasks of the university. 

Pursuant to § 7 (2) of the State Higher Education Act, universities and universities of applied sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia are obligated to regularly evaluate the fulfillment of their tasks, especially in the field of teaching. 

Since the conclusion of the Fourth Target Agreement IV § 4 (4) with the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Research (MIWF), all universities and universities of applied sciences in the state have been required to participate in the Cooperative Project Graduate Studies (KOAB) of the International Center for Higher Education Research at the University of Kassel. The stored address data are used exclusively for the purpose of inviting and reminding graduates to participate in the graduate survey. 

The processing of address data is carried out solely by employees of the university. All employees who have access to personal data in the context of the project are subject to the applicable data protection law.

You use the access code sent to you by mail to log in and participate in the anonymous online survey. 

Your answers will be stored on a server of the University Computer Center at the University of Kassel during the survey phase. 

If you wish to maintain contact with the University of Bonn (e.g., by participating in the alumni network), you will be redirected to the University of Bonn's server and asked to enter your contact details after completing the online questionnaire. 

These contact data are not stored on the server of the University Computer Center at the University of Kassel, but on the server of the University of Bonn. 

Your contact details will never be saved together with your survey data in one file. Therefore, the survey data is always completely anonymous during the survey. 

Afterwards, the University of Bonn receives the anonymized survey data (i.e., without names, addresses and access codes) for its own evaluations. All evaluations are carried out while maintaining the anonymity of the respondents.
