My research focuses on experimental hadron physics. Specifically, I am interested in the precise investigation of the substructure of the protons and neutrons and their interactions with each other. This can be examined by the exact determination of the excitation spectrum of the nucleons. I have experience in planning, carrying out and analyzing data of experiments in this research field collected by my intensive work on two experiments, the CBELSA/TAPS experiment at the Bonner Electron accelerator ELSA and the Crystal Ball experiment at Mainz Microtron MAMI.
