My research is concerned with phenomenological investigations of inverse scattering problems in hadron physics. Specifically, it involves the extraction of resonance parameters from scattering data taken at several experiments around the world. My dissertation dealt with the determination of the excitation spectrum of the nucleon from so-called polarization observables, which were mainly measured in photoproduction experiments at CBELSA/TAPS. However, the methods used in this work can be extended to other processes as well.
