EU Project Office
Located in the heart of Europe, the University of Bonn is centrally positioned — both geographically and in terms of its mission and relationships. For this and many other reasons, networking with partners across Europe and participating in European funding initiatives is an essential aspect of the University’s internationalization efforts. The EU Project Office is the central contact for questions regarding all EU activities relating to research, degree programs, teaching and partnerships. We provide information and advice on the complete range of European funding programs, including Horizon Europe, Erasmus+ KA 1 and KA 2, Erasmus Mundus and European university partnerships.
Horizon Europe research projects
Are you interested in a Horizon Europe grant? Have you already secured funding for an EU project and now need administrative support?
Funding for Erasmus+ mobility and cooperation projects.
The EU education program Erasmus+ represents a framework that affords a host of opportunities for international exchange and cooperation both within Europe and around the world.
Advising on cooperation projects and grant programs
Research cooperation is unthinkable without grant funding. The International Office will be pleased to advise you on arranging and obtaining funding for international cooperation projects.
NeurotechEU
The European Commission provides funding to the University of Bonn as a member of the “European University” network. A consortial alliance devoted broadly to the field of neuroscience entitled “The European University of Brain and Technology (NeurotechEU)” has been formed with initial three-year funding of five million euros.
