Which degrees are available?
Each degree program culminates in the awarding of an academic degree. This can be a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or potentially a state examination or church degree. The differences between the various degrees are explained on our website.
Studying natural sciences and medicine
Research into questions of nature or mathematics, engaging in measurement and experimentation, data collection and analysis – we offer a broad catalog of degree programs to cover the many disciplines and methodologies in the natural sciences, agriculture and medicine.

Life-Long Learning University
University for all – the Life-Long Learning University invites curious minds, with or without an Abitur, to take part in courses, lecture series, lectures, discussions, exhibitions and tours of the University of Bonn.
Mature students (55+)
The University of Bonn does not offer dedicated courses exclusively for senior citizens. Anyone who holds the “Abitur” general university entrance qualification can directly enroll for degree programs as regular students, presuming they meet the specific admission restrictions for that degree program.
