Drug Research
With its curriculum strongly oriented towards research, this master’s degree program conveys extensive knowledge in the field of drug research in alignment with current research projects. Independently working on scientific problems and tasks, students acquire the necessary skillset for research activities in the pharmaceutical field, especially in the pharmaceutical and pharma-related industry or at drug research institutions.
Upon application, students choose one of the following seven specialties: Pharmaceutical/Medical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Biomedicine, Pharmaceutical Biology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Clinical Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Microbiology.
Possible lines of work:
Drug research and development in the pharmaceutical industry, positions at drug research facilities and drug monitoring authorities, research and teaching at universities and other research institutions.
