Participants in the “Learning for Future” seminar series will grapple independently with topical issues relating to climate change. The aim is to raise awareness of the climate crisis, changes in the environment and climate justice. Through interactive panel discussions, workshops and academic communication activities, those taking part will make suggestions as to what students of all subjects should learn in order to be able to tackle the complex challenges posed by the climate crisis. The results are to be presented in a format that makes them accessible to the general public.

The series is being organized by students together with the Wissenschaftsladen Bonn1 (WILA) and funded by the Stiftung Umwelt und Entwicklung NRW2, the foundation for the environment and development of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Seminars will be held in the 2021/22 winter semester and the 2022 summer semester.
