University Development Plan

For more than 200 years, the University of Bonn has been one of the best-performing universities in Europe with its excellent top-level research. In 2019, we became the most successful university in the national competition with six Clusters of Excellence and the title "University of Excellence".

A key foundation for these outstanding successes was our strategy "WE invest in people, WE foster networks, WE create impact". This strategy is a basis of our University's future concept, which is explained in detail in the University Development Plan. It summarizes the University's profile, status quo, goals and measures for the future.
