The successful candidate will be expected to cover all aspects of the two subdisciplines in their research and teaching. They will be required to have access to a wealth of empirical research, have published a number of relevant articles in prestigious international journals, have a successful track record of academic teaching in industrial, organizational and/or personnel psychology and have secured third-party funding in these research fields as part of a competitive process or processes. Experience abroad and in the industry that is relevant to the subject would also be an advantage. The duties of the professorship include teaching on the consecutive bachelor’s and master's degree programs in Psychology. The post holder will be expected to play an active role in the relevant University bodies tasked with academic self-administration. They will be expressly encouraged to take part in the department’s various research initiatives and be ready and willing to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration within the University of Bonn as part of its Excellence Strategy. Applicants require a Diplom or master’s degree in psychology, a relevant doctorate in psychology and a Habilitation or equivalent achievements.

The conditions of employment are in accordance with § 36 of the Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia (Hochschulgesetz NRW).
